National Radio Day!

It's August 20, so it's National Radio Day.

(The photo is not from a radio station, but the hallway on the way to the restrooms at Buck's Restaurant in Woodside, California)

Radio folk (on Facebook, at least), tend to list the radio stations they've worked for over the years, so here goes:

KIBS, Bishop, California (1971-74)
KSLY, San Luis Obispo, California (1974)
KIOQ, Bishop, California (1974-76)
KUKI, Ukiah, California (1976-77)
KOLO, Reno, Nevada (1977-81)

(30-year detour in TV news begins here, but I managed to do double duty for some of those years):

KPSN, Phoenix, Arizona (1993-94)
KGLQ, Phoenix, Arizona (1997)
KTAR, Phoenix, Arizona (2000-2004)

And finally, back to radio full-time again:

The iHeartRadio App (2013-14)
KFBK, Sacramento (2014-2020)
KXJZ, Sacramento (Capital Public Radio) (2020-Present)
