Medicinal Marijuana and FCC policy

Can anyone lead me to some documents that explain FCC policies surrounding on-air promotion of Marijuana dispenseries??

From what I understand, sate legalized pot shops are not recognized by national DEA's...which would make this a federal issue (as opposed to simply a local issue)

Thanks.

Very Funny LowPay,

For an industry that is hurting in the pocket book it must make one wonder... What is the common interest here and does the federal governing body have anything to say about it?

From my porch, this is the biggest cash crop cluster-f** ever.

I'll get my coat now...

Since selling, possessing, or using marijuana violates federal law, I think that federally licensed broadcast stations would not be wise to accept any pot-related advertising. If it's not explicitly prohibited, it is certainly going to be problematic.

Note that I'm not commenting on marijuana legalization one way or another, but just noting that as long as current laws are in place, accepting ads from marijuana dispensers is an invitation to a license challenge.
