I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned, but I'm a member of two Yahoo groups related to beautiful instrumentals and he has personally stated on both that his channels were included in those to kept after the merger. After all, they had too many subscribers who would have dropped XM had those channels disappeared.
 
Yes, I am over on BIV there, and well it's like this. If Escape got dropped lot of folks would have escaped from XM.
