Marissa Hollowed Returns To KMIZ To Anchor Weeknight Newscasts

This is Hollowed 2nd stint at KMIZ.

A familiar face will be returning to mid-Missouri as KMIZ announced that Marissa Hollowed is re-joining as evening co-anchor of ABC 17 News. KMIZ is the the News-Press & Gazette-owned ABC affiliate in Columbia, Mo.

Hollowed led KMIZ’s newscasts from 2014 to 2017 before leaving for KMOV St. Louis.




Hollowed will join ABC 17 News weeknights at 5, 6, 6:30, 9 and 10 p.m in early September. In addition to co-anchoring in the evenings, she will contribute to the station’s investigative unit.

Hollowed said she looks forward to once again digging into topics that are important to viewers and their families.
