Major League Soccer’s DC United To Air On ‘1190 iHeartSports DC.’

Soccer PBP on the radio...never knew there was such a thing.

Not big enough to have a 'network' of radio broadcasts - single station for English, and a second station for Spanish.

With MLS selling out to Apple+, they will lose a lot of fans watching the games on TV. I went to a NE Revolution game last season and the stadium was not full and the games were broadcast on local over-the-air TV. Radio broadcasts will be the only free option to follow the games. MLSs thinking is that maybe more people will see the games in person with this new TV deal. Let's see what happens this season.
