Share, the percentage of only radio listeners, will always add to 100. Rating, which is the percentage of all people listening or not, will change depending on how many people are listening or not.
Correct. Of course, why would Nielsen give away key data from the ratings? That is all they have to sell. What they give away is the data that is useless to stations and advertisers... 6+ and 12+ shares and total cume and limited daypart ranking. Advertisers don't look at that data at all to place buys on radio stations.
