Global shipping being expensive is is a misconception. It can be but not if you use the right carrier.We spend so much with Fedex that we get great rates.
For our range of audio processors we charge $50 to deliver via Fedex priority air which is probably not a lot more than what some US companies charge to send interstate by an air courier like Fedex. If the order is placed by 10am EST it should be delivered by 10.30AM next day to most US locations. Worst case it is a two day service. Sometimes we may ship from our New York City office is stocks allow.

It's true. We purchased a procesor from BW on a Monday afternoon (probably after normal UK business hours) and received it by lunch time on Wednesday. I'd have a hard time getting myself from East Texas to London in that amount of time.
The shipping cost was $50.00 which seems quite reasonable to me. The world is suddenly a lot smaller place....
