Local pre-emption of CBS Tuesday night

Last night, WHBF-TV decided to air Guarding Tess instead of NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles, which begs the question....How many other TV stations (CBS or otherwise) participated in this stunt?

Pre-emptions seem be common right before or after sweeps periods. I'm assuming this movie was in 4:3 SD like most movie packages

And chances are, if the network schedules are rescheduled for late-night, they, too, would be 4:3 SD, as some stations do not have the capability to play back in HD.

And even some that due don't even bother to re-air the pre-empted shows in HD even if they have the capability

Hopefully no other CBS affiliates. Tuesday night has been sort of a juggernaut for CBS the past couple of seasons.

Then again maybe HBF figured that since the network was doing so well that night, they could afford to have a station or two break ranks.
