KTSO-TULSA

Star

So who thinks that KTSO will challenge some of the shares from KJSR? Seems they are leaning more classic rock than soft rock now. Men seem to be digging their 'sound'.

My father really likes KTSO. He listens to it almost everyday on his way to work, and that can be up to an hour as sometimes he has to go to Locust Grove. However, he's not a listener they stole from KJSR. He listened to KVOO 98.5, especially in the mornings, before The Sound launched. I would guess The Sound will get some listeners from Star as that's the most similar station to it in the market. However, they will likely also get some listeners, like my father, from unexpected sources. It will be interesting to see how well they do over the next six months or so. The most recent book showed a nice jump for them, and, before long, we'll see if they can sustain it.
