KCFL FM is On in Seattle

Sounds pretty good! But what's with this "Roxy" slogan - and it seems like the station's centered in Olympia...

I heard it while flipping through stations and driving in the Renton S-Curves. Was a strong signal and then faded as I headed south of Ikea.

CFL-LP FM is, as stated there, a Low Powered FM. It's coverage is mainly for the city of Seattle. Starting at about Lake City on south to about a couple miles south of I-90. Then we also have it on the Eastside/Sammamish/Issaquah area on 104.5. Not sure about where the "Roxy" slogan came from...except if you were south of our signal coverage.

Hope you all give it a try and enjoy. You'll find it's a whole lot more than jack...and then some.

Your signal was getting stepped on by these guys: http://www.krxy.com

This "Satalator" (as opposed to fill-in translator) is going to get busted up along with KCFL pretty soon. Enjoy it while it lasts. I give you guys 5 months and then the Funky Monkey will light up like a Roman Candle on 104.5 and smoke you guys out, giving you a 60 dbu in Fall City of about 2 kilometers, enough signal to drive to the Safeway and back.

That just means that Google, much like everyone here in Seattle, has never heard of KCFL because it hardly counts as a real radio station. Keep in mind that Kacie Sommers does mornings there... another sign that it can't possibly be a real radio station.
