KBOQ-103.9 Drops Classical Music For AC

Yep, I was the one that posted this topic. I had assumed that the Monterey area was part of the Bay Area. I thought it belonged here as I have seen posts on other Monterey/Salinas/Santa Cruz radio stations like KYAA-1200, KNRY-1240 & KOMY-1340 here so i posted here.

It's also somewhat poignant to the Bay Area because we just lost the big-signal KDFC. So the loss of another semi-local classical station strikes a chord in the SF Bay. Not to mention the fact that 103.9 comes in on most car radios from San Jose South if you ever try to tune it.

Now I am wondering which station he will acquire? An AM Radio Station? A Full Powered FM Radio Station? Or A Low Powered FM Translator? But It Will Only Be A Simulcast Of Its KMZT Station In Los Angeles. Low Budget For Sure!

I admit I never listened to KMZT-AM 1260 I only listen to KUSC online and KDFC and KXPR on FM radio.

For some reason, I have this eerie feeling that Mt Wilson will try to acquire a station like KYAA-1200?
