I am a big fan of Jimmy Buffett and will be attending his first of two shows at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA when he comes to the Boston area on Monday, June 20th. I have been a Parrothead for many years but never attended one of his live concerts. I heard they really are a lot of fun. Has anyone ever seen Jimmy live at the Tweeter Center (formerly known as Great Woods) or anywhere else? What are his concerts like? I know that he is still really popular because his two shows at the Tweeter Center sold out in five minutes! That's over 38,000 tickets! <P ID="signature">______________
Moe: (Sees a microphone in a radio studio) Ooh, a microphonie!

Curly: Or a phoney at the mike!

Moe: Quiet numbskulls I'm broadcastin'!

Jay you cheeseburger, you got tickets. I hope you don't have to get up early for work Tuesday as it'll take longer to get out of the parking lot than it did to sit through the concert depending on where you end up parking. I used to spring for the extra $20.00-$25.00 & park down the road in a private driveway then walk in & out. I lose patience getting out of that lot after a sold-out concert.

His concerts are a hoot & lawn seats are the best for Buffet because half the entertainment is all around you wearing grass skirts & dancing. I swear half the people don't even care about him but go for the experience. Think of a cross between spring break & a luau. The last time I couldn't get tickets though, I bought his box set for a fraction of the money & realized how outrageous the ticket prices really are. The concert is over. I still have the box. I like the whole concept now of rock concerts at the Connecticut casinoes because of the ease of getting in & out, although Buffet at a casino would lose in translation.

Have a blast & a few margaritas.
