In the news: New station in Jericho?

NC Friends Broadcasting Inc. of Greensboro, N.C., has submitted an application to the Federal Communications Commission to start a radio station in Jericho.
In an application filed in 2007, NC Friends describes itself as a nonprofit educational station that will provide "NPR-type programs such as Morning Edition and interviews." The application says that additional programming "will include such programs as Focus on Family."
