its easy to see why no one in their right mind should support this guy for president....

"CLINTON: Good evening.

Earlier today, I ordered America's armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces. Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors.

The hard fact is that so long as Saddam remains in power, he threatens the well-being of his people, the peace of his region, the security of the world.

The best way to end that threat once and for all is with a new Iraqi government -- a government ready to live in peace with its neighbors, a government that respects the rights of its people."

It just scares hell outta me when we agree on something. Worse when we agree for the same reasons.

Yep, Clinton attacked (many times) a sovereign nation without UN nor Congressional consent under the pretense of WMD programs threatening the world and the USA.

But they were good wars because America did not clearly win.

hmmmm, got any UNSCRS ? hmmmm, sounds very familiar...oh well,

When Clinton attacked Iraq, Saddam had thrown out the inspectors who were still at that time still looking for WMD, but your argument wasn't about WMD, it was "No war for Monica".
Second thing, Bush claimed the inspectors were not let in BEFORE attacking Iraq, when they were at the time, getting rid of al-Samood (sp?) missiles and were doing a very detailed job...but president testosterone....couldn't wait, told the inspectors to get out, and had to force a "decapitation" strike which was not even true.....he just wanted to get his stupid war going......

There is a difference between the judgement of the two presidents and that is your "Inconvenient Truth" to deal with.........which still has nothing to do with John McCain and his obvious failures captured on good old video for all to see......

Maybe you and Johnny are sharing shiny keys......Clinton's presidency is over, its time to hold your failed "president" accountable instead of blaming Clinton or muddying the water with Clinton attacks....

All of which does nothing to shatter our alliance on opposing McCain.

That is completely false. Bush was the one who got the inspectors back in and Dr. Hans Blix on Jan. 27, 2003 reported to the UN that Saddam was not complying and that there were still 1000s of tons of unaccounted for anthrax, sarin, and XV nerve gas.

http://dir.salon.com/story/opinion/conason/2003/07/15/bush/index.html => written the week bush made his claims.....i won't do you job for you so use google if you want to see the video or other info......but most people know he claimed that....

again, if you want to cry about clinton, create your own thread.......if you have something about McCain, then this is the place for you even if you are wrong most of the time....

""We gave him a chance to allow the inspectors in, and he wouldn't let them in."

Is that the single little quote that you are basing all of this on? Actually read Dr Hans Blix's report to the UN and you'll understand what not letting the inspectors "in" means. The Hussein regime refused to allow the inspectors into many areas of Iraq. They were not complying with allowing the inspectors to move around the country. Duh! And that was his final chance.

"Iraq appears not to have come to a genuine acceptance -- not even today -- of the disarmament, which was demanded of it and which it needs to carry out to win the confidence of the world and to live in peace."
