Hummm, JACK doesn't "taste" as good any more

I think for me the "New" has finally worn off and I'm starting to realize that 100.3 just might not be what I thought it would be. At first the large play list with no real direction sounded like something I wanted to listen to, and at first it kinda was. It was kinda cool to hear different songs that I wanted to hear from many different areas (some old(ish), some new(ish), some pop(ish), etc,etc.).

But lately it seems I have had to listen through more and more stuff on JACK that I really didn't like, just to finally hear a song that I could stand. I guess that's a basic problem (in my opinion) with a big play list that doesn't focus on a given type or era of rock music.

Oh well, I guess no station can please everyone. And I still have 102.1, 92.5, & 93.3 to chew on for music (LOL).

chew on this ... Chow down ... ciao ...

I am chewing on that ...

I haven't tasted any of those stations in a while ...

do any taste any good?

I'll try a taste ... just a bit ... maybe after the New Year.

After I eat my blackeyed peas for good luck!

Good luck!

Jack was playing "Shadow Dancing" this afternoon
while I was out getting some last minute shopping
done, and I was actually singing to the damn thing.
Good God, someone please end my misery and get me
a gun!

I find it funny how 3 out 5 times that I turn on Jack during the day I hear Rob Thomas. I would hear him when he was fronting Matchbox 20, then I would hear the stuff he did with Santana before going solo. I also hear his new single stuff on there as well. I can only take so much of one artist in a day, that's why I hate Top-40 radio. I wonder why I'm still working in this business from time to time because of crap like this.
