Howie's fill-in on Fri 6PM?

I heard someone filling in for Howie today (Friday) in the 6PM hour. I assume Howie headed out early for a weekend engagement.

Who is this person? Was this his producer guy who is sometimes on mike?

Steve filling in for Howie is easier to take than VB, who, BTW, was on the WRKO-Boston.com Morning Show with Kim Carrigan last week, and did a pretty decent job at it.

That guy was a producer? From the minute or so I heard him, he has a pretty good voice and seemed in command.

He has a little experience with local news/politics up in Maine.When Howie started his network it was said Steve would be a frequent fill in.Maybe had
experience at a station like WVOM
