Inactive User
KBKH-FM is looking for someone (possibly a hurricane evacuee) to sell advertising in and around Elk City, Sayre, Altus and other western Oklahoma towns and cities during the holiday season and beyond.

We pay some of the highest commissions in the industry and believe in the "if it works, leave it alone" method of doing business. We deliver 100% and then give another 100% to our clients! We've never had a dissatisfied advertiser and don't plan to start anytime soon. We keep our clients and associates happy!

KBKH-FM does not discriminate based on race, religion, sex, age, beliefs, color of eyes or hair, etc. In short, we treat everyone fairly and with the respect that is deserved so, we don't want or need pictures, tapes or resume's until after we talk with you. Personality and professionalism count more than where you've been and what you've done in the business world.

Want to grow with a great radio station that is just about to step up to a new tower and greatly increase power to cover most of western Oklahoma? Contact us today at 1-866-726-9209 ASAP as we need to get these positions filled immediately.
______________

Advertising is not allowed on Radio-info

The following types of messages are not permitted (posts which violate these rules will be removed without notice to you):

"Spam" or other blatant advertising.

Just for future reference, advertising for employees is not allowed on Radio-info.

Check the top of the pages under "Rules".

Radio-info.com was established to discuss radio and other broadcasting issues --not as a Want Ads section.

Then, I humbly beg your forgiveness and most sincerely apologize for seeking to reach a mutually beneficial arrangement whereby myself and someone (possibly an out of work hurricane evacuee) could help each other out. I understand this is not allowed and will not be tolerated. Anyone who might have seen the post should please disregard the offer and continue looking elsewhere or continue waiting for the next government check until they run out. (I was somewhat of the impression that, when the country is in crisis, we could offer to help each other out but, I can see that this is not the place to do so.)

Again, please accept my most humble and sincere of apologies for this most heinous transgression. It will not happen again. Also, as you most certainly must be one of the administrators (or a moderator, at least), please immediately cancel my account, delete my username and remove all traces of my existence on these forums as I am most assuredly unworthy of remaining in the company of such profound greatness and wonders.
______________

Don't see anything about evacuees anywhere in your ad Terry.

Hey, don't be so sensitive. It's not like you are going to receive lethal injection.

Well, unless you do it again :)

By the way, hyphen "out-of-work hurricane evacuee. Compound adjective.

Otherwise, it sounds like you're talking about an unemployed storm.

Again, retro excuses won't fly here Monster Man. No mention of the down and out in your ad ... at all.

Baloney, if you wanted to help, why not just spell it out in the ad.

Well, Terry, I am "most certainly" not.

Look at top. Safford is the moderator, and I am not an administrator.

I am just The Batman ... man.

Yeah, he's got some nerve all right :).

Trying to get FREE advertising instead of paying for it like the rest of us :).

By the way, what's his name ... Terry or Keith ... or both?

As a programmer, I don't recall EVER paying for any job ad I've ever posted when looking for talent.

Who's paying?

Most job sites are free that I've used.

I'm not taking his side. But I don't think any of us expect to pay when we're searching for talent thanks to the web.

What I want to know is how to contact YOU! I've had many people (over the years) talk about how they've always wanted their own stations and what they'd do with them...

Well, I've gotten four of them and I had those people in mind when I started this process but, it seems that everyone has moved on...

Call me or something! Toll-free is 1-866-726-9209. It would be nice to talk with you for the first time in the 21st century!
______________

I've apologized and repented my sins. As stated above, it seems that there's a surplus of out-of-work people who could use some gainful employment. I also am very much aware that this is actually a "psuedo-professional" site and that mostly people who are "kinda-sorta" in the industry or who are interested in getting into the industry hang out here. I was looking to give someone a break and show them an open door as opposed to getting the same crap that I used to get years ago: "What? You want to work in radio? You have no experience! Now, go and get some experience! When you have some experience, come back! What? All the other stations told you the same thing? That's not my problem! Now, go and get some experience before you come back..."

Again, I most humby and respectfully apologize and beg forgiveness. It was an honest mistake and, based on the people I see hawking consulting services, specific brands of equipment, engineering services, etc., I simply thiught this would be a single and harmless post that (although taking up a single space on a message board) would go mostly unnoticed and might actually prove beneficial to someone. I can now see that I was mistaken.

Didn't you see my happy faces :).

Here's another :).

I am old school ... thinking of the newspaper want ads.

Sure AllAccess, Radio and Records, etc.

No, I was mistaken ...

Hey, I commend you for that. If I had not had a helping hand in high school to get into broadcasting, I don't know where I'd be.

Maybe I'd be better off though :).

Just kidding ... I LOVE radio ... always have.

And always go back to it ... it is addictive.

I think I was mistaken. I don't see anything wrong with it unless the board turns into a want-ads section.

This Oklahoma board is a little slow anyway.

Good luck and good night as Ed Murrow would say.

Re: Happy faces

Sorry.

I'm retarded when it comes to reading mood in type.

Please forgive me.

Naw, most are free these days.

The Internet is a wonderful thing that Al Gore invented it :).

What station do you program ... where?

Hey, I'm always available ... witty, natural, ... old :).

I am the 53-year-old Batman ... you know "The Dark Knight" one.

and 35 years experience ...

Now I am posting ... I guess ... haha

What goes round -- comes round.

And I would like to come back to Oklahoma ...
