Former Browns great Josh Cribbs, wife Maria to host talk show on WOIO Ch. 19

Gray has announced that a show will be out in the fall for WOIO and WUAB.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Josh Cribbs, one of the most beloved Cleveland Browns of the expansion era, and his writer, producer and activist wife, Maria, are teaming up to host a new morning talk show on WOIO Channel 19.

Debuting in September, "Cribbs in the CLE: Josh and Maria Live" will feature the couple discussing "local and national headlines, relationship and parenting topics, health and fitness, entertainment headlines, and lifestyle points of interest for Northeast Ohio," according to a release.


“Josh and Maria Cribbs are a hometown couple that have name recognition," says WOIO/WUAB Vice President and General Manager Erik Schrader. "But once you get to know them, you realize how fun, down to earth, and relatable they are. We think this show is the perfect format for their personalities to really shine."

Both have on-air experience. Josh, one of the greatest kick returners in NFL history, appears regularly on the station’s Sunday pregame show, “Tailgate 19.” Maria, a licensed Esthetician, personal trainer and entrepreneur, hosted her own podcast.
