Eric Prydz - Call on Me

Wow I'm surprised I don't see a thread about this in here. This song is blowing up here in Chicago. I heard it at a regular mainstream bar the other day and it was like everyone in the place knew what it was, and my buddy mentioned, as it was playing, that he heard "this song" on the radio, and we don't have a Dance station here in Chicago, so I suspect one of the Top40's is playing it?

How far did it get up on the charts?

That track was on The Ministry of Sound, The Annual 2005 CD. I bought that CD back in December of 2004.

Eric Prydz - Call on me .... One of the most requested songs in the Chicago club scene. Everybody goes insane once that track is dropped. I still throw that track in my B96 Afterparty mixes even though its a little bit older. I love throwing older familiar tunes in with the new stuff. Call on me is a dance floor anthem. I don't see it fading away anytime soon.

Usually when I throw this song on or any song similar to that Eric Prydz style, the people leave the dance floor. Lately it has been the case. Same with the Royal Gigolos songs.

Agreed. My crowd (granted it's suburban Chicago) hasn't been open to any new dance music EXCEPT Eric Prydz and Royal Gigolos. The good part about this is I can actually go a night and 'accidentally forget' to play "Relations" by Erika and no one will notice as long as those 2 tracks are played!<P ID="signature">______________
