Yeah, I saw the thread on the SF board too. The only info I've seen is what radio-locator has on their site... there's info about a CP for another transmitter which would be due south of the original site. What I don't understand is that the newer signal is reported by radio-locator to be MUCH less power... says 150 watts? Not sure if that's an error or something. The elevation of the antenna is supposed to be double what it was before, so that could be the difference. According to the coverage maps, projected coverage improves somewhat to the south, but also diminishes a bit to the north and northeast (where there's lesser populated areas). I don't know what they could do to get better penetration even further south toward San Jose, it may not be possible depending on what's already on the dial.
