EEO Report on Website required

One of my managers sent me a notice today saying that it is now an FCC requirement for EEO reports to be placed on station's websites. I've always thought this was optional such that the report is located in the station's public inspection file. I also was unable to find any 'new' requirements to mandate the posting of this report. Does this sound correct? -Dave

EEO policy needs to be posted, but I don't believe the actual report needs to be.

However, wouldn't hurt to do so if it is available in an easy to post form.

Even in 2006, some stations still don't have websites.<P ID="signature">______________

True. If you don't have a station website, you don't have to post the EEO policy. It has to be in the public file somewhere.
