Does Anyone Actually Listen to this Station?

I would say yes, but they've always operated on a shoestring. John Nolan (of John Nolan Ford)'s part ownership helps. From what I understand, the DJs are not much more than volunteers. WDJO does have a loyal but small following on air and online.

Actually those pea whistle translators have a better signal than the original WGRR. I'm on vacation with my kids in Florida. I'm anxious to get home and see what happens. This thing isn't a threat to any of the big boys, but could just find a nice little 3 share niche. I thought we all wanted the local independent little guys to succeed. Why the hate?

Well yeah, corporations are eeeeeee-vil and mom and pop operators are selfless saints, so why are we trashing a non-corporate owned station. Are we all hypocrites?

Seems a lot of drama about nothing. A failing AM on two peawhistle FM translators doesn’t actually translate into listenership does it?

Yes, there are lots of us that listen to this station. I liked Pat and enjoy Marty. Not sure Mark Elliott will keep to the original intent of the station, but time will tell. Hope they are successful at getting an FM signal on the east side of town
