New openings running. Karen only in mornings, no secondary person as she had been. No weathercaster named at noon. Seems to be a hodgepodge of Karen, Brittany and Chris once in a while. Adam even had one day. Not surprising as the closing hasn’t included only that day’s person, not as if the others were filling in for Karen.
4 pm open omits the “third wheel” role Sarah previously held and seemingly filled now by Alicia. Interesting to see if they are leaving Sunday nights with one anchor now.

Now Ali Gorman is out. So far not clear if it’s voluntary or otherwise.
So Karen is off and instead of the person who does mornings weekends, and has been there for years, they of course pass him over for the fill in time.
The GM and/orb news director don’t seem particularly subtle at this point.

Revisiting after a while. 4 pm is back to fully staffed with Christie Illeto the official third-wheel anchor (aka the mostly fluff person) and in the intro.
Some of the cheap maneuvers seem like a shock coming from the longtime leader. Splitting morning traffic, no new health reporter (though a new general assignment reporter). The checkerboard noon weather.
From appearances, Boyer is a full timer (heck, Melissa might have been, but she had less fill in work overall, and was used on FYI liberally). Sowers gets a little in the way of extra shifts when they’ve maxed her out, or they need a morning fill in after she does the night shift. It even ended up that Sowers worked the evening with the sainted Jim Gardner a couple of nights. They had some bizarre insistence against that for years.
