Mobile radio old timers may remember when Charlie Monk was a DJ/PD in Mobile ... at WKRG 710 in the early 60s, and at WUNI 1410 later in that decade. After that he moved to Nashville to DJ and become a well known country music composer/publisher. Until recently he was doing on-air work on SiriusXM country channels. Was originally from around Geneva, AL. He died last week.
