Cash Box Weekly TOP 100 Charts (1950's thru 1990's)

Until a few days ago the Cash Box weekly TOP 100 charts from the 1950's to the 1990's were online and downloadable. I was interested in and downloading the 1950's and 1960's charts. Now, today, I cannot find them. All my bookmarked sites do not work and neither do any of the sites suggested thru a Google search. Does anyone know what is going on? And, does anyone know of an internet site that provides Cash Box TOP 100 charts from the past?

Wow. I, too, was surprised to see that the site was down. Depending on what you're looking for, some of that info is available on Wikipedia (enter "American Record Charts"). Otherwise, you probably need to use the Whitburn Billboard books. Sometimes you can find a deal on the older books on eBay or Amazon.com.

Well, this is better than nothing: whiteboy7931---probably not his real name---has posted several YouTube videos for different CashBox top-40 charts; each video features a snippet of every song from #40 to #1 and shows the labels of every hit. Here is one of them, September 23 1978, and on the same page you'll see links to several others.

Mostly 1978 & 1979 singles...good countdowns and the original record label being shown.
