Byron Allen acquires diginets This TV and Light TV

Byron Allen has acquired diginets This TV and Light TV from MGM. Wonder will these channels just be filled with reruns of his cheap syndicated programs? (If his 'cable' channels are anything to go by)https://deadline.com/2020/10/allen-media-group-buys-two-networks-mgm-1234605235/#comments

It'll likely be a combination of what each network already carries, plus material from his other networks, and possibly developing original programs. Could be no worse or better than what This or Light already shows.

Welp, This TV will be replacing one of their movies each day with four reruns of Funny You Should Ask. :p

This TV sucked when Fox17 had it for 9 years from 2010 to 2019 was dropped for Court TV as Tribune signed on for Court TV before Scripps bought WXMI last year it's an O&O for Court TV. Never have seen Light TV what is that since none of the local TV station air Light TV on the subchannels.

Then what happens to This TV the digital sub channel if it's going on IONTV?

huh? When Scripps officially buys Ion (sale goes through) its the Katz networks that are moving to Ion when the current agreements end (Laff, Grit, Bounce. CourtTv, CourtTv Mystery)

My bad I read the This TV comment wrong I think the person said replacing a Movie with Funny you should Ask on This TV. Then KMCI would have to replace them with something.

Most of whats on this tv already is old western themed shows. So maybe he will add more shows focused on diversity and that have more like diverse actors. Much like mtv 2 and BET does.
