Boston Pops 4th of July Esplanade Concert on Bloomberg TV - Comcast 844 or 44

Will see if Bloomberg TV (Comcast 844/44) will improve the coverage of the Boston Pops 4th of July Concert on the Esplanade tonight at 8.

Now that the grubby hands of the Budweiser and Bufferin salesmen are off this concert it will be interesting to see if it returns to its original patriotic concert instead of a low brow rock concert it has become to attract a younger demographic.

First a correction: Bloomberg only broadcasts in HD. So, only on 844. No lower channel. As to the concert. Thought it was a little uneven. Looked again as if it were produced by a committee - 'a little bit of this and a little bit of that.
Who is Andy Grammer and who told him he could sing - if that was singing. Leslie Odom might have been okay if he were properly mic'd but he wasn't. Melissa Etheridge was okay not sure what her songs had to do with The 4th of July. Brian Michael Stokes is amazing. He opened the program but disappeared after that. Should have been more of his performance. The old fashioned sing-a-long and the complete [ but still shortened version of the 1812 Overture] were very good and resembled the original 4th Concerts. All and all a good first outing by Bloomberg but you can tell they are more comfortable giving the DowJones than producing a music program. In the future they have to improve the pacing and the consistency of the music. Would give it a C and maybe a C+.

I didnʼt check at the time, but unless Bloomberg has two channels, Bloomberg-SD is ComCast-45.
