The country is set to have its very own 24-hour business news channel with the launch of Bloomberg TV Philippines this September.
Among the main purposes of this new channel is to raise the financial literacy of its Filipino audience while boosting their participation in the economy.
Bloomberg recently made Cignal its fifth local partner in Asia, after it signed a multiple-year contract, while promising that the new channel would have more local content as opposed to the Bloomberg Television channel which is currently airing in the country through cable.
