CBC Radio One expands podcast offerings with program highlightsTORONTO (CP) - CBC Radio One is expanding the number of programs available by podcast, available for download on to computers or portable music players.It introduced Wednesday podcasts that provide highlights of The Current, Dispatches, Definitely Not the Opera, Ideas, Outfront and As It Happens. Regional programming will also be available by podcast, allowing listeners to hear the programs anytime and not just when they air live.The new offerings are in addition to CBC Radio's existing podcasts of Quirks and Quarks and CBC Radio 3.The podcasts and a schedule of offerings are available at http://www.cbc.ca/podcasting/

As It Happens is broadcast on public radio stations in the US by American Public Media. IMHO it is the best and most interesting news-talk or interview program in radio - any where. http://www.radio.cbc.ca/programs/asithappens/about/wheretofindus.html
