93.5 KDAY and KDEY are way out of sync

I noticed driving between LA and Riverside listening to 93.5, the simulcast is out of sync. Sounds really bad. It used to be synchronized perfectly and I could listen to KDAY continuously heading east from LA. Now they’re several seconds off. Ideally they should be synchronized like boosters, so that the interference zone sounds like multi path rather than co channel interference. And it would be possible to perfectly sync the HD so that you don’t even notice any interference when listening on an HD radio
