So this W263DA says it translates WJRZ-FM.
But JRZ comes in well in Toms River so I'm confused.
Does WJRZ broadcast multiple formats in HD and 100.5 translates one of the side channels in analog?
Thanks!
Not sure what they are doing today, but initially the thought was that their signal was not as good in Toms River as their competition. Since they are at 100.1 and the translator was close at 100.5, it was a good match.
They recently (last couple years??) moved one channel lower to 100.5 from 100.7 which for all intents and purposes is a total mess in NJ between all the Class B's, and the handful of translators the also occupy it. Good call by Beasley to move and go non-directional and a channel closer to the primary at 100.1... it looks like it is a "fill in" translator that can pickup WJRZ by any means aside from OTA...
