WOMC has a solid jump and remains #1. WCSX has an even bigger jump and moves up to #2. WNIC dropped a full point and drops to #3. WWJ drops, but remains in fourth. WDVD is in fifth after a big jump.
With the start of the Tigers season, The Ticket saw a jump, but only good enough for 6th. The performance of this station has been quite poor over the last 18 months. WMXD, WYCD, WRIF and WJR round out the Top 10. WJR makes a return to the Top 10 after a several month absence.
WKQI is 11th. It was not a good month for iHeart in the Motor City. Frankly, I'm surprised that WOMC is putting such distance between itself and WNIC. I've been enjoying the 'iHeart 80's lunch' and the '80s at 8' played during Mario Lopez' program. Maybe some fans of more modern music have gone to WDVD? Ahead of the transfer to EMF, WPZR remains mostly flat with a 2.7 share. The Bounce, before dropping Kanye West music, dropped to a 3 share at #15.
NASH continues to lag WYCD. So called 'public' radio is in the gutter with no station mustering a 2 share and one not even cracking a 1 share.
