CBS had a solid Sunday lineup during this stretch. NBC spent big on 'Amazing Stories' but the ratings couldn't justify the production expense. Some great episodes on that show though including an early role for Kevin Costner in 'The Mission'.
 
CBS would move both Crazy Like a Fox and Trapper John, MD to Tuesdays at midseason, shortly before cancelling both. The Sunday night movie arrived in January of 1986.
