WDAY (Fargo) and WDAZ (Grand Forks) to take their websites behind a paywall

https://www.ftvlive.com/sqsp-test/2019/7/16/tv-stations-take-websites-behind-paywall

WDAY-TV and WDAZ-TV are owned by Forum Communications.

FTVLive reported back in December that WDAZ and WDAY both are owned by Forum Communications and the company has merged the two stations in an effort to make more money.

Now, the company is looking to make some more money, by taking the stations websites behind a paywall.

Putting a website behind a paywall is fine, IF you offer great content. But, FTVLive has yet to see a TV station website that is worth paying for.

Yes and this is happening when Forum is looking to make more money in its news content.

First they get rid of WDAZ's news department, then they block their website behind a paywall. Awesome decision, Forum. KVLY is going to LOVE that!
