106 KMEL San Francisco - April 25, 1987

The one from 1993 is SO much better than the current one for KPWR! Thanks for that audio clip, It sure brings back memory's how cool it was listening to radio in those times. I wonder if there's one of the old KMEL version out there?

If KMEL was to integrate the old-school R/B format, similar to how the old KSIQ 98.1, and bring back something similar or a more updated version of the 69K watts hourly chime, I think it would be a more popular station today.
