Who wins & who loses in Catsimatides’ purchase of WABC?

With Catsimatides’ purchase of WABC, who will benefit and who won’t, assuming he makes programming changes? Sid Rosenberg expressed nervousness this morning on his show, but, he boasted that the Bernie and Sid show is hugely successful, so, why would the plug be pulled? Is the show so successful? Sid suggested that Curtis Sliwa, who is friends with Cat., could benefit from their relationship, with job security. But, Curtis is long in the tooth and Cat., presumably, didn’t purchase the station to provide job security to friends. Over at am970, Frank Morano, who produces Cat.’s Sunday show, and who desperately seeks to host his own daily on-air show, is pictured with Cat. after the purchase announcement, no doubt hoping Cat. will make his dream come true at WABC. But, Morano, who also is Joe Piscopo’s sidekick, hasn’t helped make that show a success, so, will Cat. give him a show at WABC as a reward? Mark Simone is good friends with Cat., so, might he be lured away from WOR? Will be interesting to see how the chips fall.

I thought Catsimatids said that he wanted to retain the staff at WABC. I see no change regardless.
