Montgomery County Emergency Information Radio Station

MarcB

Walk of Fame Participant
I just got back from a trip to the Philly area. I stayed at the Crowne Plaza hotel in King of Prussia.

When I arrived on Thursday afternoon I gave the FM band a spin on the Sony Clock Radio in my room. On 105.7 I thought I would get with La Mega's Translator (WEMG/Camden) or 105.7 The Hawk WCHR, but instead I got a station called Montgomery County Emergency Information Radio. It was kind of like a TIS station with PSAs and information about what to do before and during and an emergency, And crap like that there.

Anyone know anything about it?

FCC data base says Montgomery County has two LP on 105.7 with 24 watts each. One in Marlborough and one in Plymouth.
