Ben (Higgins) + (Steven) Woods have found a new radio home after the demise of The Mighty 1090:
Padres flagship 97.3 The Fan, where they'll do mornings (5-9 AM). First show is June 10, 2019.
An announcement was made during the Wed. 5/22/2019 Padres-Diamondbacks
afternoon game at Petco Park on the stadium's video board.
They replace "The Coach" John Kentera who had been temporarily holding down the slot
after Dan Sileo left (was fired) and moved to WEEI Boston for part-time/weekends.
Ironically Ben + Higgins had replaced Sileo at 1090 about 1 year ago.

As mentioned in another thread, it looks like Entercom is fully committed to making 97.3 The Fan (KWFN) the
primary Sports station in San Diego with the (future) addition of four strategically placed boosters in North County
along with trying to keep the Padres broadcasts (now in year three of a five year deal).
