WNBM 103.9

What about Univision? They could get more coverage to the Hispanic Bronx and simulcast WQBU, flip the format like they've always wanted to.

Univision doesn't want to do Regional Mexican in New York, but with the signal hitting a large Mexican area they kind of have no choice.

WQBU is alrady Regional Mexican. What is your point?

My point is that they switched formats to Tropical Adult hits and then Spanish Talk, but because they didn't hit anything west of the East River that well, they went right back to Regional Mexican, which is a format they're kind of locked on with their signal, serving a substantial Mexican population, albeit not one as keen on Regional Mexican as California or Chicago's. Simulcasting on WNBM, they hit more of the Bronx and the Bergen Line and can switch the format to something with greater appeal to New York's mostly Caribbean and South American population.
