Antenna Hungaria (540) Now On The Air With 2MW

Antenna Hungaria is now on the air on 540 KHz. with a Nautel 2MW transmitter.

Two Megawatts is a lot for 540 KHz and this should be audible here in the States too.

How old is old? 1 year and 3 months. Maybe some did not hear it then.
Still makes a good dx target for the east coasters.
A megawatt here, a megawatt there, pretty soon you're talking real megawatts!

Keep in mind that skywave is worse at the bottom of the band than higher up,
though I used to hear Allouise, France on 164 KHz (now 162 KHz) fairly regularly
between Euro-dusk and Ameri-dawn and with extremely slow if any fading.
