Cloudflare pops-up while I am posting

I was in the middle of posting when I got that prompt which asks "do you really want to leave this page?"

I clicked on yes, and was taken immediately to the Cloudflare "checking your browser" page.
When it brought me back my post was gone.
 
The website is under a DDoS attack. We have activated CloudFlare anti-DDos to stop the attack.
