Arizona TV Station Update - February 2019

As always, questions, additions, comments and corrections welcome.

With Repack Phase 2 well underway, things have become very quiet in Arizona and surrounding communities in California, Nevada, Utah and New Mexico.

    Programming Changes

    • K36NE-D 43.x Las Vegas NV (HC2 Station Group Inc.) has once again added channels 43.2 and 43.3, but instead of Seventh-Day Adventist programming provided by the station's previous owner, these subchannels now offer infomercials and shopping. Channel 43.2 is now OnTV4U.

Construction Permits and Special Temporary Authorizations (STAs) Granted

    • KFPB-LD 50.x Globe (Globe LPTV LLC) has been granted a construction permit to vacate the 600-MHz band, after amending its displacement construction permit to specify RF channel 25 instead of RF channel 21, resolving its mutual exclusivity to an application from KGRQ-LD Gila River Indian Community. Technical specifications: Ch 25; TL 33° 19' 57" N, 112° 4' 0' W (South Mtn.); ERP 5.5 kW directional (2.5° electrical beam tilt); HAAT 480 m.
    • K43GQ-D 4.x Klagetoh (KOB-TV LLC) has been granted a construction permit to vacate the 600-MHz band, after amending its displacement construction permit to specify RF channel 27 instead of RF channel 25, resolving its mutual exclusivity to an application from K38AU-D Tohatchi NM, which has also been granted. Its new call sign will be K27OR-D. Technical specifications: Ch 27; TL 35° 40' 29" N, 109° 12' 25" W (approx. 1/2 mi. S of AZ-264 and IR-201); ERP 0.205 kW (1.5° electrical beam tilt); HAAT 146 m.

KFPH, Rf 13 Flagstaff, has been sending out a signal with no audio or video
for several weeks. Hard to imagine they do not know this. Could this be
    part of the 4k test????
