WTOP's new and old digs

Does WTOP own their new building in MD? What is their new address?

And as for the old building at 3400 Idaho NW - will WFED stay there and expand or relocate into 'TOP's old space?

I'm pretty sure that the old space is being vacated, and WFED has been moved, too.

All the stations, including the repeaters, translators and the like, in the group are now listed as being on Wisconsin in Chevy Chase.

WFED is not going to expand... it bills about 5% of what WTOP does, and it's a high-end of the dial AM with limited coverage and potential.

Per Google Sat, it looks like they're in that crescent shaped building on the northeast corner of Wisconsin and Western next to Giant. They're in Maryland by a few footsteps.

WFED is just the radio arm of Hubbard's streaming "Federal News Network" (formerly Federal News Radio) programming, and only became so after then-owner Bonneville had exhausted other possibilities for the 1500AM signal (various news-talk formats). FNR started out as a website with streaming and was expanded to, first, Bonneville's 1050AM which barely penetrated buildings in DC, and later to 1500. Next-to-nobody is listening to 1500AM - it garnered only the participation trophy 0.1 share in the latest ratings, the same as Hubbard's vanity music mashup "Gamut" format on a translator. One could assume that the bulk of Federal News Network's revenue is made via the website and streaming listeners, so in that respect, FNN could conceivably expand, though it would seem that after 19 years of operation that the network likely has all the resources they currently need.

But the answer to the original question is they're also located in Hubbard's new location in Chevy Chase, not in DC.
