It's Official: Juliet Huddy Joins Curtis Sliwa on WABC

Wish them the best, but right now they talk over each other too much. They need to get a rhythm, although anything is better that Curtis and Cosby.

Noon to 3 is a tough daypart in talkradio.

his ex-wife Lisa Evers (mornings on WABC)
Ron Kuby (mornings on WABC)
then Curtis solo on 970 WNYM after Imus replaced them on WABC
Ron Kuby again (mid-days on WABC)
Eboni Williams
Rita Cosby
now Juliet Huddy

Curtis solo was also syndicated at night on WABC for awhile after they picked up Imus. John Bachelor returned to that slot on WABC in November of 2009. Curtis continued to host the syndicated show from WABC for a short time before moving to WNYM.
 
You can extend that to all of these N/T operators. These "heritage" signals are just wringing the last few years of profit and running out the clock.

I’m appalled at the preponderance of low-quality advertising on “major” NYC stations. One advertiser purports to help people avoid paying their credit card balances, actually saying it’s the credit card companies ripping off consumers by making them believe they’re obligated to pay off their debts. Imagine that?
