What's with some stations' and their audio?

This is only my opinion of course, but I do a lot of listening at home to a lot of stations.

106.7 The Bull has too much mid-range.

105.5 The Colorado Sound plays a bunch of songs in mono. Songs that were definitely released in stereo. Then they have other songs that are in stereo. I find that really weird.

On the good side - The Big 97.9 has fantastic audio, as does KBCO.
