Guess it was the political angle of them.
6000 homes destroyed. That's more homes than in my township!

A victim of the Woolsey fire is KBUU, an LP in Malibu. It's transmitter was hosted at a higher elevation home, and the home was burnt. Although the transmitter survived, it has no link or power.

Long ago frequent poster "Zuma Hans" is the licensee for the station, and on the FB page for the station he states that the studio equipment was all packed up in his car and driven to a beachfront area to be safe. His home, fortunately, survived but it will be weeks for this station to return to the air due to the infrastructure damage.

There is talk on the FB page of creating a GoFundMe page for the rebuild.

That's got to hurt the property tax base.
How did our emergency services fail us? We've got to do better!
