Atl flips.. El patron is no more

El Patron 105.3 is gone.. Z105.3 has been launched.. a copy of what I heart has in Miami and Orlando.

iHeart is saying the reasons for the change from Regional Mexican to Latin Hits are 1) The median age of the Latino in Atlanta is 26 vs 36 for the total Atlanta population, 2) The percentage of Latinos who are Mexican has decreased to 53% and 3) the enormous popularity of Latin Hits.

Not mentioned is Davis putting La Raza on 107.1.

Next, iHeart should ditch the low rated sissy music format from 105.7 and bring back Project to the market!!!

Active Rock not doing that great nationally for the most part. Granted, Iheartradio produces the worst alternative stations.
