Oh yeah, this is a problem nationwide, especially in large market radio stations.

You might as well complain about all the repeated music links on the Lost Hits-MIA boards as well. Glad I left.

No doubt due to the unreasonable attitude of radio stations that is reflected in only and maniacally playing songs that the listeners actually want to hear.

WZPL in Indianapolis their playlist is a little outdated I think. Some of the stuff they play from like 2010.

Of about 2,300 spins in the last 7 days, only 30 were from songs released before 2014. All but 3 of those were songs that had not played the week before. And gold is only 10% of total spins on the station, so we are talking about very, very few songs.

Oh, and a couple of songs they played last week that are reaaaaallly old are things like Monster Mash that got inserted as a Halloween item in the morning show. Nearly all the really older stuff is limited to the morning show, in fact, and they are played as a topic to complement the show.

Not outdated at all. Many hit radio stations will insert a "recent" hit to complement what's out today. 2010 is not old, especially if it's an artist still making music today, like Maroon 5.
