On Wednesday, CBS made good on its plans to launch an Entertainment Tonight streaming service with the announcement of ET Live, a free-to-watch ad-supported channel.

ET Live will feature content complementary to Entertainment Tonight, which is still on broadcast television. The channel will feature entertainment stories, breaking news, celebrity interviews, features, and behind-the-scenes and red carpet coverage.

ET Live will initially be available online at ETLive.com, on Android and iOS devices through the ET Live app, as well as on Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV. The company plans to add more device compatibility soon. ET Live will also be integrated into CBS All Access along with CBSs streaming news network CBSN. ET Live will also be offered as a live feed within CBSN.

ET Live is the third free ad-supported livestreaming service for CBS after CBSN and CBS Sports HQ, launched earlier this year. CBS All Access also features ads but charges an additional subscription fee for access.
Yes its CBS's third streaming network with ads after CBSN, CBS Sports HQ but its entertainment segments. Yes its CBS's way to go after TMZ.

Great idea. Recognizable brand, owned and distributed by CBS, now available 24/7. What's not to like?
