Could it be time?

We've already seen tweaks to The Eagle's playlist to skew younger. Another reminder that the previous core target audience has aged out of the desirable demographics. Much of what we consider Classic Rock is now 35 to 50 years old. To put that in perspective: Had a radio station in 1970 been playing music that old, it would have been from the years 1920 to 1935.
